When measuring top of shoulder to crotch: Take a tape from the top of the shoulder down under the crotch and back up to join at the shoulder, then divide the measurement by 2. Keeps baby/toddler nice a warm. How it works: Water will get between the suit and the childs skin. This then heats up using body heat and this layer of now warm water keeps the body warm.
